Printmaking: The Varied Edition

Varied edition of ten mixed media linoleum block prints. Untitled each 17x23”
During this weekend workshop, participants will create a small varied edition of prints. Using a variety of printing and inking techniques and papers to change color, texture and mood from one print to another. Participants should plan on brining a matrix to work with: either one or more plates or an image to work from in direct “mono printing” on plexiglass.
When and where:
In the PATT studio: Saturday and Sunday, August 15-16, 9:00-3:00
Limited to 6 participants | printmaking experience required.
Cost:
$175 for PATT members, priority registration open until Dec. 31st.
$200 for non-members, registration opens on January 1st.

Reduction Linocut
August 15-16, 9:00-3:00
PATT studio in Santa Cruz
Pray for Rain, Spring, four-panel four-color reduction linocut
During this weekend workshop, participants will create a small edition of color reduction linocut prints with up to three colors. All colors are printed from the same linoleum block which is carved (reduced) between colors leaving little material in the end.

On Zoom: Sunday August 9, 2:00-3:00
In the PATT studio: Saturday and Sunday, August 15-16, 9:00-3:00
Limited to 6 participants | No experience required.
